angeleen talking head sprite

 

I made a talking head sprite to add to textboxes - this could maybe be used for popups. this one is more emotive and interactive than the full body one but it could be seen as uncanny.

I want to experiment with adding more facial expressions rather than just open and closed

I need to add in performance sections throughout to break up the narrative a bit more

I need to refilm and further highlight the narrative as it is a little hard to understand

for my website to fit in with my video game aesthetic I did a photoshoot with Angeleen to recreate classic video game sprites. this was inspired by visual novels and storytelling games how characters are not animated but have sprites for each action. this was done so she can be shown on the website and advertising materials

I took many different poses and shots to give myself maximum option as to what her sprite does.

I also took some close up face photos to give myself the option to create a more RPG text based sprite
